History
From a community platform to AI agents
From the earliest community platform through enterprise systems, e-invoicing and data centers to AI agents, one thread runs through everything: using technology to help people and companies work better.
Where it began: online community and software services
OpenMoney Group traces its history to early work in online communities and software services. Bill Hsu began working on web platforms and programming from a young age, building technical capability through Hongwang Studio, the DonNet blog, custom software and cloud hosting. DonNet gathered a substantial user base at a time when Taiwan's internet was still immature and smartphones were not yet widespread — an early demonstration of platform operation and user service.
Milestones
- 2004Info-Rich Information Co., Ltd. founded
Building on the studio's technical foundation, the company took on custom enterprise ERP, government information systems, website development, e-commerce and cloud services. This period established the group's core engineering base and accumulated delivery experience across industries, scales and situations.
- The accumulating yearsA modular, specified, procedure-driven way of building takes shape
Years of client projects brought recurring problems: handover between engineers, inconsistent coding styles, custom systems that resisted maintenance, and the difficulty of training people. Out of these came a modular, specified, procedure-driven way of building. Opendoor and the later OTS code generator grew directly from those practical pains.
- 2013OpenRich Technology Co., Ltd. founded
Established to take on productisation, market expansion and packaged software. OpenRich went on to develop the OpenClever seven-in-one business system, PayWay e-invoicing, the DonMoneys platforms and DonBaby AI Agent — extending the group from bespoke projects into products that could be replicated, subscribed to and scaled.
- Around 2016OpenClever and the e-invoicing value-added center
The OpenClever cloud ERP suite and e-invoicing service took shape, and OpenRich became an e-invoicing value-added center approved by the National Taxation Bureau. This marked the group's entry into the core of daily business operations: transactions, invoices, membership, inventory, reporting, customer relationships and store management.
- 2019OpenFor Telecommunications Co., Ltd. founded and licensed as a Type II carrier
As a Type II telecommunications operator, OpenFor strengthened the group's telecom, cloud, data center and infrastructure services. With its own IP resources, leased-line network and data center capability, the group could extend downwards from software into network and cloud foundations — software, cloud and network as one integrated capability.
- Recent yearsDonBaby AI agents and emerging technology
The group has moved further into DonBaby AI Agent, DonBaby Account Manager, AI investment tooling and blockchain. From the earliest community platform through enterprise systems, e-invoicing and data centers to AI agents, one thread runs through everything: using technology to help people and companies work more efficiently, more manageably and more sustainably.
